The Albert Lea Area Autism Support Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 8 in Room 232 at Brookside Education Center. The group meets on the second Monday of each month during the school year to share joys, concerns and information related to having a child with autism. This month, the group will have Jaclyn Gunderson from the University of Minnesota SPARK to share the latest research related to autism and to share how families can be a part of their research.  Free childcare is provided by licensed autism teachers for students and their siblings.
