1 cited for theft

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Belton Dwayne Reed, 31, for misdemeanor theft after a report of a semi taking diesel without paying was filed at 8:23 p.m. Thursday at SuperAmerica, 23087 Minnesota Highway 13. Reed was estimated to have taken 40 gallons of fuel with a total value of $125.84.

 

Inappropriate behavior reported

A report of a male with short brown hair wearing a hoodie and jeans standing on the side of the road across from Albert Lea High School yelling at students and displaying a poster of abortions and a “fear Jesus” sign was made at 2:55 p.m. Thursday.

Spray paint spelling the word “jay!” in a parking lot was reported at 4 p.m. Thursday at 220 E. William St. Damage was estimated at $10.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Police arrested Colleen Muriel Olson, 39, on a local warrant at 4:53 a.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Truck stolen

A truck was reported stolen and a house broken into at 4:32 p.m. Thursday at 2324 Milo Ave. The truck was found in Lake Mills, but the topper was still missing.
