The monthly meeting of the Cannon Valley Civil War Roundtable will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Faribault American Legion at 112 Fifth St. NE.

The presenter will be Curtis Dahlin, a renown author and photograph historian. Dahlin was born in South Dakota and is the author of 16 books. His topic will be on his latest book, “The Fort Sisseton Dakota Scouts and Their Camps in Eastern Dakota Territory 1863-1866.”
