Fifth-graders show off their work

- Fifth-graders from Halverson Elementary School have been reviewing previous painting standards while learning new ones. Many of those standards were used during these paintings. Standards included use of the elements of visual arts, such as line, shape, color and texture; comparing and contrasting selected pieces of art and describing them with art vocabulary words; and following instructions and respecting tools and equipment. The students showcasing their work are Chase Schmidt, Ethan Stieler, Hanoi Garcia-Ascencio and Ady Gilliam. - Provided
