Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office to host meeting about body cameras

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office will host its third and final opportunity for public comment concerning the implementation of body worn cameras from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Freeborn Room in the Freeborn County Government Center.
According to a press release, the meeting is intended to allow the public to comment and have input prior to the sheriff’s office finalization of its body worn camera policy.
A PDF of the policy is on the sheriff’s office website for the public to view prior to the meeting.
Printed draft copies will be available during the meeting.
Those who plan to attend should watch for directional signs at the government center.
