Thefts reported
A report of a Hy-Vee employee chasing a white male wearing a black T-shirt from the store into Shopko was filed at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday. The suspect allegedly pushed out a cart of unpaid groceries but left the cart when he took off running.
A LG Stylo 4+ was reported stolen at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at AT&T, 2315 Leland Drive. The phone has a $390 market value. A suspect was identified.
A Garmin GPS was reported taken out of a silver Mazda at 6:53 p.m. Tuesday at 2352 Hendrickson Road. A window was broken on the vehicle, and the GPS was valued at $100.
A report of someone fraudulently ordering a $1,000 phone was filed at 8:13 p.m. Tuesday at 639 Meadow Lane.
A report of someone paying nearly $700 to remove a popup on a computer was filed at 9:39 a.m. Tuesday at 20974 680th Ave. in the Alden area.
Possible fraudulent credit card charges on a Waste Management company card were reported at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday at Waste Management-Clarks Grove Landfill, 25237 755th Ave.
Money was reported payed to a possible scam at 1:24 p.m. Tuesday at 1918 Riviera Drive.

A child abuse/neglect report was filed at 2:54 p.m. Tuesday in Freeborn County.
Truck fire reported
A truck was reported on fire in a field at 5:08 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 750th Avenue and 150th Street in the Glenville area.

Albert Lea police arrested Richard David Scheib on a warrant at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday at 2233 Margaretha Ave.
