The Civil War Roundtable will meet Thursday, commencing at 7 p.m., in the media center of Southwest Middle School. Mike Peterson will do a presentation on the creation of West Virginia and its impact on the Civil War. The traditional drawing for a free book will be at the conclusion of the presentation and a brief Q & A session. This event is free to the public.
