Health Talk Series to continue in Albert Lea

A free Health Talk Series for seniors is scheduled from 2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 28 in the chapel/theater at Thorne Crest Senior Living Community, 1201 Garfield Ave. in Albert Lea. Those who plan to attend are asked to enter through door A.
This is the final session of a four-session program, is free and open to the public and will benefit those interested in basic Parkinson’s disease education.
Kogulavadanan Arumaithurai, a neurologist at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea and Austin, will share information and answer questions regarding Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s disease is a progressive nervous system disorder that affects movement.
According to a press release, attendees will learn about Parkinson’s symptoms, treatments, how to help themselves and loved ones with Parkinson’s, where to seek care and more.
