The women of First Lutheran Church will host Holidays Ahead from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Bethany Hall at First Lutheran Church. Coffee with Scandinavian goodies will be available from 8:30 to 10 a.m. A luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

According to a press release, tables will be set up throughout Bethany Hall with crafts, cookies and candy, which will be available for purchase. The basket silent auction will return this year, while accessory avenue — which will feature like-new accessories such as scarves, jewelry, purses, ties, hats and gloves, among other items — will be a new addition this year.

SCRIP cash cards will be available and a percentage of these sales go to local and global missions. The First Lutheran Gift Shop will have its grand opening as well. Lefse will be on sale from 8:30 a.m. until it is gone.

Proceeds will go to missions, the release stated.

Holidays Ahead is open to the public.
