Wells Concrete has announced the hiring of two new employees to its sales team, according to a press release.
Amy Holliday was hired into the company’s sales department, where she will consult with clients on the most economical use of architectural and structural precast products, prepare estimates for budgeting and negotiate contracts.
Holliday has been in the precast concrete industry for 20 years. After graduating from Dunwoody Institute, she started her precast career by estimating projects.
She then moved into sales in 2003, where she has worked with local and national account clients across the country. Holliday previously worked in Chicago as the executive director of Precast/Prestressed Concrete Industry, Illinois and Wisconsin region.
In his new role of business development architect, Ed Muehlberg will be that of an architect — using his unique skill set to help find design and production solutions for owners, architects and contractors.
According to the release, Wells Concrete is proud of its ability to provide custom solutions for clients’ needs, and Muehlberg’s addition to its team is further commitment to that approach.
Muehlberg will also be involved in helping bring new products and technologies to the marketplace, providing owner’s and architects with more design options for them to consider in their projects.
Muehlberg has been a registered architect since 2001. In his 23-year architectural career he has worked on projects of different sizes, construction types and complexities. As a project architect and manager he has been involved in all phases of the design process, from predesign through construction administration.
Muehlberg graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Architecture and received his Masters of Architecture from Syracuse University.
