The Albert Lea boys, U-13 soccer team, above, had a great start to their soccer season. The team went undefeated in the Fairmont Tournament May 14 with a 3-2 win against Redwood Falls U-14, a 6-0 win against Fairmont U-13 and a 0-0 tie against Rochester EURO U-14. They also played their first soccer league game against Fairmont on May 15 with a 8-0 win. Coaches Stacey Overgaard and John Doran are thrilled with the talent these boys are showing. “These boys work hard and are having lots of fun together,” Overgaard said. The Albert Lea Youth Soccer Association is a volunteer organization committed to the development of youth soccer in Albert Lea.
