4 arrested on warrants
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Shane Howard Johnson, 40, on a warrant at 12:51 p.m. Friday at 413 W. Main St. in Geneva.
Deputies arrested Donald Maurice McCormick, 22, on a local warrant after a woman was described as being disorderly and asking for him at 3:52 p.m. Friday at the Minnesota Department of Corrections, 408 S. Broadway Ave.
Deputies arrested Joshua Adam Cole, 29, on a warrant and cited him for driving after suspension during a traffic stop at 8:23 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of South Newton Avenue and East William Street.
Albert Lea police arrested Steven Anthony Moreno, 28, on a warrant at 9:56 p.m. Saturday at 138 1/2 W. William St.
Thefts, property damage reported
Ten dollars in change, some pens and gum were reported taken from an unlocked vehicle at 7:50 a.m. Friday at 1212 Swanhill Drive.
Damage to property — broken windows and a door — was reported at 6:52 p.m. Saturday at 524 E. Fourth St.
A back window of a sport utility vehicle was reported broken at 3:05 p.m. Sunday at 310 E. Clark St. Damage was estimated at $300.
An Eno violin tuner was reported stolen out of a mailbox at 4:04 p.m. Sunday at 2414 E. Main St.
A theft report was filed at 4:58 p.m. Sunday at Walmart. A male allegedly came in with a receipt, pulled clothing from a shelf and tried to return items at customer service. When denied, he allegedly walked with the items under his arm. Loss was estimated at $45.78.
Vehicle strikes garage
A vehicle reportedly struck a garage door at 1:55 p.m. Sunday at 2101 Harmony Ave. Damage was estimated at approximately $1,000. No suspects were identified.
3 cited for theft
Police cited a boy and a girl for theft at 5:49 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
Police cited Mayra Alejandra Vasquez, 21, for misdemeanor theft after she allegedly stole a Straight Talk phone card. The incident was reported at 2:56 p.m. Friday at Walmart.
