2 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Holly Marie Nelson, 35, for gross misdemeanor domestic assault after disorderly conduct was reported at 2:07 p.m. Sunday at 606 Water St.

Police arrested Tasha Rae Nelson, 30, for domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 5:15 p.m. Sunday at 1904 Bridge Ave.

2 arrested for drunk driving

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Blake Anton Shell, 55, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 12:09 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Main Street and McKinley Street in Manchester. Shell allegedly had a .12 blood alcohol content

Deputies arrested Fernando Eltaro Harrell, 40, for third-degree DWI refusal and failure to signal a turn at 2 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Main Street and South Washington Avenue.

 

1 cited for theft

Police cited Sadie Jo Lewis, 30, for misdemeanor theft after a shoplifter was reported in the asset protection office at 8:29 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

Sex crime with a child victim reported

A sex crime with a child victim was reported at 9:07 p.m. Sunday in Albert Lea.

 

Thefts reported

A $50 counterfeit bill was reported at 10:38 a.m. Friday at Trades & Labor Federal Credit Union, 610 S. Broadway Ave.

A Toyota Rav4 was reported taken at 12:05 p.m. Friday at 29258 Freeborn County Road 45 in the Clarks Grove area. The vehicle was found at I-35 Auto Recycling.

A theft report was filed at 11:12 a.m. Friday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

 

Tampering reported

Tampering with snowmobiles was reported at 11:03 a.m. Saturday at 1417 St. John Ave.
