Karole Moe, 54, of Medford and Provincetown, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018.

She is survived by her spouse, Karen Baker; mother, Colleen Jacobson, of Albert Lea; sister, Karen Moe (Mark Scott), of Byron; and brother, Kenneth Moe, and wife, Cindy, of Rochester. She is also survived by her newly found biological family: brothers Greg and Nick Lemmer and sister, Samantha Murray, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Duane Moe, and her stepfather, Glen Jacobson.

A graduate of Iowa State, Karole developed a career in art and design. In concert with Karen Baker, she opened Kmoe in Provincetown and Somerville, Massachusetts.

From the U.S. to Africa, her reach as an artist, humanitarian, family member and loving friend is incalculable.

Karen treasured her recovery of 14 years.

Her energy, positive attitude, creativity, laughter and love will be forever missed.

There was a memorial on Friday in Boston.
