Albert Lea woman injured after being struck by vehicle

An Albert Lea woman was injured Monday night after she was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Sheridan Street.
Ann Berry, 79, was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with injuries deemed not life-threatening, according to Albert Lea police.
Police found Berry to be conscious and alert after she was struck by the southbound 2003 Ford pickup driven by Ian Ball, 18, of Albert Lea, the release states. Ball and Taysha Sternhagen of Albert Lea, a 17-year-old passenger in his vehicle, were not injured in the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
Impairment is not suspected to be a factor, the release states.
Gold Cross Ambulance and Albert Lea Fire Department assisted on scene.
