Nancy Poore, 1943-2018

A public gathering for Nancy K. Poore of Albert Lea will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea.
Nancy died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at her home in Albert Lea. She was 75.
Nancy was born May 10, 1943, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Orville and Nellie (Hass) Hanson. She was a graduate of Albert Lea High School. After graduation, she moved to Illinois, where she worked for Chicago Rawhide Co. for over 40 years. She enjoyed singing with the Hass sisters, playing cards and loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her sons Don (Jean) Poore of Algoma, Wisconsin, and Ron (Dawn) Poore of Carpentersville, Illinois; grandchildren Blaine, Jake, KinderAnn, Sarah and Tyler; 11 great-grandchildren, sisters Mary (David) Adamson of Apple Valley, Sharon Hanson (Jan Passmore) of Zephyr Hills, Florida, Sonja “Sonnie” Woolson of Albert Lea, Sandy Zwick of Albert Lea, Pam (Paul) Jerdee of Albert Lea; brothers Dan (Judy) Hanson of Albert Lea and Paul (Mary) Hanson of Albert Lea; sisters-in-law Judy Hanson of Albert Lea and Ann Hanson of Buffalo; and brother-in-law Don Adams of Lake Mills.
Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Jim Hanson and Jerry Hanson; sister LaVonne Adams; and brothers-in-law Floyd Woolson and Lee Zwick.
