A Northwood man was injured Monday after crashing into a parked car, a second vehicle and other property in Northwood.

Lee Nelson was taken to the hospital via Mason City ambulance.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at approximately 3 p.m. Monday that someone was driving through yards and hit a car parked at A&I Auto Inc. and a Northwood-Kensett school bus barn, according to the Worth County Sheriff’s Office.

Further investigation revealed Nelson, who possibly suffered a medical condition before the crash, also struck a parked car in the Villa Woods parking lot, shrub on that property and a mailbox at Northwood Dental Association. 

The crash is still under investigation.
