Albert Lea residents should have their snowblowers and shovels ready as another round of snowfall is expected to begin Saturday night and continue throughout the day Sunday.
The National Weather Service is forecasting 3 to 6 inches of snow in southwestern and southern Minnesota. The highest amounts will be around the Interstate 90 corridor.
Snowfall is expected to lead to slippery roads and reduced visibility with potential for blowing and drifting snow in open areas.
Albert Lea is under a winter weather advisory from 9 p.m. Saturday to midnight Sunday.
