1 arrested for DWI
Albert Lea police arrested Kimberly Anne Bonilla, 36, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, having a .08 blood alcohol content within two hours, driving after revocation, giving a false name and on a Waseca County warrant during a traffic stop at 10:43 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Fountain Street and North Newton Avenue.
1 arrested on warrant
Police arrested Dana Alan Plotts, 39, on a Mower County warrant at 12:02 a.m. Sunday at 1550 Blake Ave.
1 held for contempt of court
Tyler Dain Christensen, 30, was reported held on contempt of court at 10:10 a.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
Items taken, damaged
A wallet was reported taken from a counter at 6:53 a.m. Friday at 110 N. Eighth Ave. A credit card was reported used at a location.
A theft of a Samsung Galaxy S8 valued at $900 was reported at 3:14 p.m. Friday at 651 E. Seventh St. The incident allegedly occurred around March 1.
Meat and other food were reported stolen at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at 310 E. Eighth St.
A report of someone breaking windows in a lobby was filed at 9:20 a.m. Saturday at Hilltop Manor Apartments, 826 S. Fourth Ave.
A purse was reported stolen at 4:41 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The purse was returned, but cash was missing.
Money was reported stolen at 4:47 p.m. Saturday at Albert Lea Family Y, 2021 W. Main St.
Racial slur reported
A racial slur in pink chalk paint was reported on a stop sign at 1:10 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Martin Road and Lakeview Boulevard. The slur was removed. No permanent damage was reported.
