Albert Lea man injured in motorcycle crash on I-35

A 22-year-old Albert Lea motorcyclist was injured Saturday afternoon when he reportedly crashed on Interstate 35 four miles south of the Iowa border.

Andrew Ryan Steele was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for injuries deemed not life-threatening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Steele was driving a 2002 Honda RS southbound on I-35 when he reportedly lost control of the motorcycle and skidded to a stop at 3:40 p.m.

Roads were dry at the time of the crash, and Steele was wearing his helmet, the report states.
