Project: Bringing holiday lights to downtown Albert Lea

Report: With the grant from the Freeborn County Communities Foundation as well as other donors, the Holiday Lights Committee recently placed an order for additional lighted garlands for the downtown street lamps, which now makes the downtown and splash pad areas. The group is still hopeful to complete the gazebo lighting project for the next holiday season and will do some fundraising this summer in partnership with the Kiwanis selling kettle corn at Thursdays on Fountain.
