Man cited for breaking window
Police cited Ta Kaw at 7:54 p.m. Saturday after receiving a report of a man walking on Newton Avenue who had reportedly smashed a house window with a rock.
Break-ins, thefts reported
A house was reported broken into at 5:23 p.m. Sunday at 1320 Margaretha Ave. A jar of change was reported missing.
An attempted break-in was reported at 11:44 p.m. Sunday at 317 E. Eighth St.
Items were reported missing at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at 133 W. William St.
A push mower was reported stolen at 3:22 p.m. Sunday at 112 N. Second Ave.
2 arrested on warrants
Michael Ray Sanders Jr., 46, was arrested on two warrants at 2:50 p.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway.
Jonathan Fredrick Eggers was arrested and held on a local warrant at 2:10 p.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway.
Door broken
A door was reported shattered at 2:21 a.m. Sunday at 1353 S.E. Broadway.
Illegal dumping reported
Floor tiling was reported illegally dumped in a dumpster at 8:32 a.m. Monday at 601 E. 14th St.
Albert Lea police received a report at 8:41 a.m. Monday of a dumpster at the city pool intended to be used for construction debris that was reportedly filled with garbage.
Call to police leads to arrests
Police arrested Mark Allen Will, 62, for third-degree driving while intoxicated and Melissa Sue Rack, 37, for a domestic abuse no contact order violation after police received a report at 5:59 p.m. Monday of a female trespassing and spray-painting a building at 826 S. Fourth Ave.
Man arrested for DWI
Police arrested Marty James Herman, 57, for third-degree driving while intoxicated and an ignition interlock violation after a traffic stop at 6:18 p.m. Monday at 910 S. Broadway.
Theft reported
A theft was reported at 8:52 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The theft reportedly took place Saturday.
1 arrested for violation
Police arrested Kasandra Elaine Gonzalez, 33, for a domestic abuse no contact order violation at 11:11 p.m. Monday at 308 W. College St.
Suspicious activity reported
Four juveniles were reportedly seen attempting to open doors on vehicles at 12:03 a.m. Tuesday at 526 W. College St.
