Memorial services for Carol L. Latham will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home, 1415 Highway 13  N. in Albert Lea. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service. Carol Lorraine Latham, 68, was received by God the morning of Friday, June 7, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by guardian angels and loved ones at that time.

Carol was born Nov. 6, 1950, in Brainerd. Carol was a homemaker with a glorious smile who could light up a room. She was selfless, always putting others first. She loved flowers, cooking, Christmas baking, her three dogs and — most of all — her family.

Carol is survived by her significant other of many years, Mitchel Johannsen; three children, Forrest (Elizabeth) Latham of Princeton, Jerry (Elizabeth) Latham of Albert Lea and Rebecca Latham of Albert Lea; five grandchildren, whom she adored, Henry Latham, Oliver Latham, Ian Latham, William Reyes and Dallas Reyes; four brothers and two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rolland and Lorraine Flansburg.
