Multiple fraudulent checks reported

A fraudulent check for $85 was reported to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office at 9:25 a.m. Monday.

Two bad checks were reported at 11:34 a.m. Monday at 66918 180th St., Conger.

Fraudulent checks were reported at 12:40 p.m. Monday by an Albert Lea resident.

Numerous fraudulent checks were reported at 1:24 p.m. Monday at Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St.

 

Tires, other items dumped illegally

Two dozen tires were reported illegally dumped in a parking lot at 9:26 a.m. Monday at 78693 Freeborn County Road 46. The incident reportedly took place sometime during the storm. A tarp, pallet and a trash can were also left.

 

Suspicious person reported

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a report of a suspicious person at 9:04 p.m. Monday at 86136 330th St. A car was reportedly sitting in a driveway for 20 minutes and someone was videotaping people at the residence.

 

Man cited for leaving scene of crash

Police issued a citation to Bryan James Clancy for leaving the scene of a crash and an expired driver’s license after a reported hit-and-run crash Sunday night on Frank Hall Drive. Clancy reportedly backed out of a driveway at 1002 Frank Hall Drive and into the side of a vehicle.

 

Vehicles broken into

A van was reported broken into at 1:56 p.m. Monday at 1708 Eberhart St. Money was taken.

A vehicle was reported rummaged through at 1714 Eberhart St. Nothing was taken from the car.

Over $600 worth of items were reported missing from a vehicle at 5:40 p.m. Monday at 1010 Ramsey St.

 

Man arrested for fleeing police

Police arrested Terry Lee Bowen, 46, for fleeing in a motor vehicle, fleeing on foot, obstruction, careless driving, driving after revocation and gross misdemeanor no insurance after a traffic stop at 5:40 p.m. Monday at 2214 E. Main St.

 

Motorcycle reported stolen

A motorcycle was reported taken from a driveway at 6:33 p.m. Monday at 920 St. Jacob Ave.

 

Window broken out of residence

A window was reported broken at a residence at 11:28 p.m. Monday at 202 Fenton Ave.
