Austin native named to Marquette dean’s list
James Snee of Austin has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee. Snee is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in finance.
Kirkwood announces dean’s list
Kirkwood Community College has released its dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester. These students have achieved a 3.3 grade point average or higher after completing 12 or more credit hours at the college.
Kirkwood students from the area earning this distinction include Jarod Martin of Albert Lea and Brayden Schultz of Wells.
Area residents graduate from RCTC
Rochester Community and Technical College announced its fall semester 2018 graduates. Graduates include Emily Griggs, Associate of Applied Science degree in health information technology with high honors; and Johann Medina Castellanos, an associate’s degree in nursing with honors. Both students are from Albert Lea.
The college’s commencement ceremony took place May 16 in Regional Sports Center. A video of the 2019 commencement ceremony is available to view at www.rctc.edu/graduation.
A.L. students named to dean’s list
Emma Grossman and Madison Willey of Albert Lea were named to the dean’s list at Drake University. The academic honor is achieved by earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the fall 2018 semester at Drake.
UW-Platteville announces chancellor’s list
Jacob Wallin of Alden, who is a mechanical engineering student, was listed on the chancellor’s list for the fall 2018 semester at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
A.L. native graduates
Kessa Albright of Albert Lea graduated in December from the University of Eau Claire-Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in women’s studies.
USF releases dean’s list
Dakota Callahan of Clarks Grove was named to the University of Sioux Falls dean’s list for the fall semester. Callahan is majoring in biology.
To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale.
