1 arrested for drunken driving

Police arrested Matthew John Houston, 37, for third-degree driving while intoxicated after receiving a careless driving complaint at 6:16 p.m. Wednesday on Freeborn County Road 46 near Trail’s Travel Center.

 

Man injured from fireworks

A man was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea at 5:25 p.m. Thursday from 78153 300th St., Ellendale, for a fireworks injury to his face.

 

Damage reported

The glass on a tractor was reported broken out at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday at 83237 310th St., Ellendale.

Mailboxes and a sign were reported damaged at 7:57 p.m. Thursday at 88764 270th St., Austin.

 

8 cited for underage drinking

Five juveniles and three adults were cited for underage drinking after deputies received a report at 3:51 a.m. Friday of at least four juveniles trying to break into pop machines at 140 W. Main St. in Glenville.

 

2 cited for disorderly conduct

Police cited Robert Lee Del Angel, 25, and Anthony Nick Barela, 28, for disorderly conduct after a reported fight at 2 a.m. Thursday at 1210 E. Main St. Barela was also reportedly cited for obstructing.

 

Vehicle stolen, found

A vehicle was reported stolen overnight Wednesday at 429 St. Peter Ave. It was later found.

 

Vehicles broken into

A car was reported broken into at 10:42 a.m. Thursday at 1212 Johnson St. Money was stolen.

Two vehicles were reported broken into at 3:27 p.m. Thursday at 1412 Sheridan St. A backpack with about $300 worth of items was stolen.

A car was reported broken into at 6:02 p.m. Thursday at 1010 St. Thomas Ave. Money was reported missing. The break-in reportedly took place in the early morning hours.

 

Suspicious person reported

An unknown male was reported in a shed at 7:20 p.m. Thursday at 704 Johnson St.
