The Michael H. Seibel Family Visitation & Exchange Center, 105 First St. SE in Austin, will host an open house  from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 19.

The Seibel Center is one of 11 nationally recognized parenting time centers, according to a press release. The center provides a safe setting in which custodial and non-custodial parents may visit their children, or for the exchange of children between parents. Situations that may require the use of the center include parents involved in domestic violence, orders for protection, harassment orders or divorcing parents with conflict.

According to the release, the center has undergone renovations over the past year and would like to extend the invitation to the public to have lunch and a tour to learn more about the services the center offers.
