Woman arrested for drunken driving

Police arrested Nicole Leigh Brooks, 28, for third-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of South Fourth Avenue and Plainview Lane.

 

3 arrested on warrants, violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Linda Ann Kuiper, 62, on local warrants at 10:13 a.m. Tuesday at 411 S. Broadway.

Deputies arrested Derek Kevin Christensen, 32, at 11:14 a.m. Tuesday at 71752 200th St. after assisting in a probation check.

Mower County deputies arrested Brady John Larson, 34, on Freeborn County warrants Tuesday and transferred him to Freeborn County, according to Sheriff’s Office logs.

 

Man taken to hospital after crash

Timothy Anderson, 42, of Jackson was taken by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea Tuesday morning after he reportedly crashed an International street sweeper into a light pole in the back parking lot at  2214 E. Main St. It is undetermined what led to the crash, according to police.

 

Counterfeit check reported

A counterfeit check was reported at 11:08 a.m. Tuesday at 1619 W. Main St.
