A woman was injured Thursday afternoon after a T-bone collision at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Sykes Street in Albert Lea.

Elissa Mae Vick, 41, was reportedly taken by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after the crash, according to police.

Reports state Vick was driving a Nissan Ultima south on Bridge Avenue at 4:39 p.m. when she reportedly drove through a red light and collided with a Chevy Colorado, driven by Bruce Thimmesch, 48, traveling west on Sykes Street.

Vick was cited for a stop light violation.
