- Jane Samuelson, Freeborn County Women, Infants and Children coordinator, was chosen for the Everyday Hero Award. The Everyday Hero Award acknowledges and celebrates WIC staff who every day demonstrate a commitment to the mission of WIC and who strive to make WIC a great experience for participants. Samuelson has been the WIC coordinator for 16 years in Freeborn County. The WIC staff who nominated her for the position said Samuelson has always gone above and beyond to make people feel valued, understood and respected when they walk through the WIC door and is a highly valued employee and team player. - Provided
