Mary W. Johnson, 78, of Apple Valley passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019.

Born Aug. 14, 1941, in Albert Lea to Robert and AnnaRita Knudtson. Mary was an avid baker and competed in the Minnesota State Fair and Dakota County Fair. She was a lover of flowers and was a member of the Minnesota Orchid Society.

She was preceded in death by sisters Sue and Becky; and brother, David.

Mary will be dearly missed by loving husband of 57 years, Don; sons Brad (Yukiko) and Doug (Anne); grandchildren Gareth (Colleen), Dan, Gavin and Katie; siblings Berta (Bob) Jones, Steve (Deb), Marcia (Tim) Ross, Mark and Pat (Bob) Pichotta; brothers-in-law Dennis O’Reilly and Don Spinks; and many other friends and family.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Atonement Lutheran Church, 601 E. 98th St., Bloomington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Lebanon Cemetery in Apple Valley.
