Favorite teacher of all time and why?
Mrs. Hansen is my favorite teacher, because not only was she my track coach and math teacher, she was also there when I needed someone to listen to me.
Favorite book/author:
“The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green.
Current/past activities, volunteer work and accomplishments:
Figure skating in Albert Lea and Rochester, third place at Minnesota state figure skating championships, Student Council president, National Honor Society, choir, receiving honorable mentions for best in site at the solo and ensemble contest in Lakeville, chorale, caroliers, show choir, fall musical, track and field, student of the quarter, environmental awareness club, confirmation, singing and altar serving at St. Theodore, Bayside Water Ski Team and working at Good Samaritan Society of Albert Lea as a certified nursing assistant.
What do you want to do after high school?
I plan to attend a four-year university to get my Bachelor of Science in nursing, then I want to get my doctorate of nursing practice in midwifery.
What advice would you give to younger students in Albert Lea?
High school goes by very fast, so get involved while you can because it will only benefit you in the future.
