City, county issue building reports

Valuations for building permits issued by the Freeborn County Planning and Zoning Office have passed the million mark for the year, according to the April report.
During April, this county office issued 22 building permits with a listed valuation of $765,256. This increases the estimated valuation for county-issued permits to $!,619,939 for the first four months of the year.
Permits were issued in April for two new homes and eight home additions and/or garages.
One April county permit with a valuation of $75,000 was issued to Harmony Park, Geneva, for the construction of restroom and shower facilities.
The City of Albert Lea Inspection Department issued 30 building permits with a valuation of $490,010 during April. This increases the total valuation for permits issued so far this year to $3,487,349.
At the end of April 2008, the city’s report shows a permit valuation of $2,323,832.
A building permit was issued in April for a new duplex on Hale Drive.
