Break-ins reported

Police received a report of a car that was broken into at 2:35 p.m. Monday at 2304 Eunice Drive. The break-in reportedly happened overnight Sunday. A pistol from the car was missing.

 

1 arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Holden John Mattis, 20, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated at 2:58 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 35 near mile marker 8.

 

Attempted vehicle theft reported

Police received a report of someone attempting to take a vehicle at 4:47 a.m. Monday at 611 E. Sixth St. The owner ran out yelling at the males attempting to take the vehicle, and they left in a dark-colored SUV.

 

Mailbox damaged

A mailbox was reported damaged at 10:35 a.m. Monday at 2502 South Shore Drive.

 

Four-wheeler stolen

A four-wheeler was reported stolen at 4:36 p.m. Monday at 401 Pilot St.

 

Thefts reported

A 2015 Polaris Ranger was reported stolen at 10:42 a.m. Monday at 23514 740th Ave., Albert Lea. The theft reportedly happened sometime last week.
