Lou Anne Jenderny

Lou Anne was born in Albert Lea on Nov. 5, 1952, to Edward and Mavis (Brandt) Johnson.

Lou Anne loved spending time with family and friends. She particularly looked forward to fishing expeditions with grandchildren at Spooner Veterans Park and going to the Shell Lake beach. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking and entertaining large and small groups. She had a special passion for children and worked with special needs students in two different school systems, Eyota and Shell Lake. She loved reading Scripture, Bible studies and worship with her friends.

Lou Anne is survived by her husband, Bill Jenderny, of Shell Lake; sons Charles (Kelle) Jenderny of Poskin and Wayne (Jill) Jenderny of Lakeville; grandchildren William, Crystal, Maxwell, Miles, Mateo and Madeleine; brother, Jonathan (Marcia) Johnson, of Akansas and Linda (Dave) Carpenter of Manchester; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mavis Johnson; son, Matthew; brother, Michael, of Rochester; and sister, Jennifer Fields, of Albert Lea.

Due to the on-going health crisis, a celebration of life will be at a later date in Shell Lake followed by burial of the cremains in Eyota. Memorials can be made to Regional Hospice Services in Spooner, Wisconsin, or the American Cancer Society.

Skinner Funeral Home of Shell Lake is serving the family.
