Daily COVID-19 update: 7 new cases reported in Freeborn County

Freeborn County had seven new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total cumulative cases since March to 258. Of that number, 225 are out of isolation and five people are currently hospitalized.
The new cases included one person under 10, one between 10 and 20, two in their 20s, two in their 40s and one in their 60s.
Mower County reported five new cases and has now had 802 cases.
Steele County had five new cases, and Waseca County had two.
No new cases were reported in Faribault County.
Across the state, 308 new cases were reported, increasing the state’s total cumulative cases to 33,227.
Of that number, 29,065 are no longer in isolation, and 332 people are hospitalized, including 156 in intensive care.
Four new deaths were reported statewide in Anoka, Dakota, Olmsted and Ramsey counties. Two were residents of long-term care or assisted living facilities.
Total deaths statewide from COVID-19 are at 1,384.
