1992 — The Apple Valley High School Eagles baseball team defeated the Albert Lea High School Tigers team with an 8-1 score in the Section 1AA playoff game in Rochester.

1982 — The Tribune issued its annual section featuring seniors from Wells-Easton, Bricelyn, Emmons, Freeborn, Alden-Conger, Ellendale-Geneva, Glenville, Albert Lea, Kiester-Walters and New Richland-Hartland High Schools.

1942 — Graduation ceremonies were held for 232 seniors at Albert Lea High School.
