Learn to heal naturally

People interested in solving a personal problem such as tightness, pain or discomfort in their necks, shoulders, backs, arms or legs should consider attending a natural healing class on Friday.
The class will also lift people into more positive moods, improve relationships and show support for Albert Lea’s participation as a Blue Zones Community.
Omar Nelson of Madison, Wis., will encourage Albert Lea-area families to design a family-based natural health care program during the participatory workshop at Christ Episcopal Church on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. The suggested fee is $15, but no one will be turned away for lack of money.
The program is co-sponsored by the Freeborn County Wellness Workshop and Albert Lea Community Education. People can either pre-register through Community Education or just come.
Nelson has worked coast-to-coast with thousands of U.S. clients in the natural health field. With more than 60,000 hours of practice, he has developed mind-body-spirit exercises that people can practice to release the effects of stress. His goal is to share exercises with a million people by the time he is 75.
He will also be available at the church Saturday and for home or office visits on Sunday for people who wish to apply exercises to specific situations relating to personal and family challenges.
