NRHEG boys’ golf takes 3rd at Blooming Prairie Invite

Four area boys’ golf teams headed to Blooming Prairie Saturday to play in the Blooming Prairie Invitational.
The host Blossoms came out on top shooting a 325 to win by 19 strokes over their nearest competitor, Kasson-Mantorville. New Richland-Hartlande-Ellendale-Geneva placed third overall with a 346. United South Central shot 375, Alden-Conger 400 and Glenville-Emmons 410.
Aaron Patraw finished fifth overall for the Panthers, carding an 82. Jon Kormann was 12th overall with an 85 while Seth Hansen shot an 88 and Steve Sletten added a 91.
The Rebels were led by Sam Gackstetter who finished seventh overall at the meet with an 84. Matt Hassing added an 86 and Erik Willaby shot 96 for USC.
The Knights placed eighth overall with team score of 400.
Jordan Mulso shot an 85 for Alden-Conger and placed 10th overall. Michael Reyerson shot 102, Brandon McTague 104 and Jordan Pederson a 109.
The Wolverines were led by Zach Wangen who shot 96 as they finished ninth overall with a team score of 410.
Cody Huston shot 98 while Blake Lundmark added a 107 and Nick Golbuff a 109.
