Western Star Lodge presents scholarships

Western Star Lodge No. 26 Masonic Lodge of Albert Lea presented two scholarships last week to two graduating seniors. Joshua Everett of Albert Lea received a $1,000 scholarship to attend the University of Minnesota-Morris where he will study biology and therapy. Danielle Kirkeide of Wells received a $1,000 scholarship to attend the University if Minnesota-Duluth to study social work. Western Star Lodge No. 26 and Minnesota Masonic Charities award annual scholarships to local seniors to advance their educations.
