Weekend Planner

Titan Machinery will host the New Holland Super Boom Road Show Saturday at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds. The event starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m. There will be equipment displays, a skid steer challenge, equipment demos, food and family entertainment.

Friday

• Help support local youth at a car wash held by the Albert Lea Noon Kiwanis. The car wash is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Nelson’s Shell Station on Bridge Avenue in Albert Lea.

• Alden-Conger School will hold commencement ceremonies at 7 p.m. in the school gym.

• Albert Lea High School will hold commencement ceremonies at 7:30 p.m. in the ALHS gym.

Saturday

• The Albert Lea Farmers Market starts at 9 a.m. and goes until noon in the North Broadway Avenue parking lot.

• Help support local youth at a car wash held by the Albert Lea Noon Kiwanis. The car wash is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Nelson’s Shell Station on Bridge Avenue in Albert Lea.

• The Land Between the Lakes Kids Triathlon will be held at 9 a.m. at the Albert Lea City Pool. Age groups are from 7 to 14 years old. For more information or to sign up go to the Albert Lea Family Y.

• The New Holland Super Boom Road Show starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.

• Come to an open house at the Cowboys and Angels stables from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. two miles east of Hayward. There will be free food and pony rides available.

• Learn bellydancing as part of the Sample Saturday Series from 2 to 3 p.m. This exotic form of dancing will be held in the Fountain Lake Park gazebo.

• Join a social gathering and car cruise from 4 to 10 p.m. in the North Broadway Avenue parking lot. There will be food vendors available.

• Cruise Albert Lea Lake on a public Pelican Breeze II cruise at 4 p.m. Tickets are $10. Call 383-2630 by 4 p.m. Friday for reservations.

Sunday

• United South Central School in Wells will hold commencement ceremonies at 2 p.m. in the school gym.

• Say goodbye to the Albert Lea High School choir students before they go on a trip to England. They’ll hold a concert at the school at 8 p.m.
