Green Bay Packaging Inc. this week announced it has acquired Interstate Packaging Corp. in Albert Lea.  The acquisition was effective Thursday.

According to a press release, Interstate Packaging Corp. has an excellent reputation in the marketplace for their experience and ingenuity of manufacturing innovative, high-quality corrugated products. Their Midwest roots provide the team of employees with a strong work ethic, a commitment to quality solutions and customer satisfaction. Interstate Packaging’s facility in Albert Lea, provides service to south-central Minnesota, southwest Wisconsin, Iowa and eastern South Dakota.

Under the current leadership, Interstate Packaging Corp. has been manufacturing custom corrugated packaging since 2009. The company provides custom corrugated boxes, custom printed cartons and oversized custom boxes, operating a 120,000-square-feet manufacturing facility in Albert Lea.
