I’m currently in a journalism class at Albert Lea High School. We were assigned to search the Albert Lea Tribune for articles or anything to respond to and this jumped at me. What a great idea. Maybe, if the rest of the community understood how much it affects our high school experience, they would vote differently on the referendum.

I know a lot of the community sees us as inconsiderate teenagers, but, hey, we have our moments. Just give us a chance. We could be entertaining. Now with the whole getting this thing started I think some people in the community need to state this idea. I’m not saying that they won’t listen to us, but if they see that you do show interest and see the positives as well than maybe just maybe they’ll consider it. A petition would be a great start I think.

If a channel for schools happened, I think it would be another way for kids to get creative. Hopefully this idea does get considered. Thanks.
