Jim Adams, senior, Lake Mills

Second leading scorer for the Bulldogs with 9.9 points per game. Came into his own his senior season after seeing little varsity action as a junior. Shot 41 percent from the field. An all-conference player who was able to take the pressure of Chris Throne with his scoring ability.

Scored 253 points and had 193 rebounds, which is nearly 10 points per game and 7.5 rebounds. An emerging post player that will add to his repertoire of low-post moves next season. Played a critical role in the success of the Wolverines and formed a solid 1-2 punch with Tyler Woodside on the interior.

Kyle Bauman, freshman, USC

A 6-foot-6 freshman who broke on to the scene for the Rebels with 9.4 points per game and 5.5 rebounds. Shot 58 percent from the field and was second on the team in rebounds. Led the team with 37 blocked shots.

Aaron Klatt, sophomore, Albert Lea

Was given a tough assignment night in and night out, having to guard the top player on opposing teams all season long. Preformed admirably in that role. Tigers head coach Chad Feikema described Klatt as the team’s best overall defender. Also led the team in rebounding with six boards a game for Albert Lea as it experienced a long season.

Travis Marth, junior, Alden-Conger

Led the Knights in scoring with 12.4 per game and 3.3 rebounds a game. Led the team with 56 steals. Marth was pivotal for Alden-Conger and not the same when he was out of the lineup. He led the team in scoring 16 times throughout the season. Alden-Conger was a young team this season with just three seniors, but his presence next season is a bright spot for the team.

Third team

Brandon McTague, junior, Alden-Conger

Shot 44 percent from the floor and averaged eight points a game. When Marth wasn’t providing the scoring it was McTague the Knights turned toward. An aggressive player that wasn’t afraid to drive to the lane. Alden-Conger finished 10-17 on the season playing in a tough Valley Conference.

Sam Arnold, junior, Northwood-Kensett

Northwood-Kensett’s second-leading scorer at 9.6 points per game. Shot 53 percent from the field and collected 94 rebounds. An all-conference player in the Corn Bowl as a junior. Part of a big junior class that returns next season for the Vikings after a 12-9 season.

Greg Ramaker, senior, NRHEG

A tough defender who averaged 6.9 points per contest this season. Shot 47 percent from inside the arc. Was one of the few returning pieces that saw significant time last season. Ramaker helped lead the Panthers to the No. 2-ranked defense in the Gopher Conference and the No. 1 ranked defense in the subsection.

Keith Billing, senior, NRHEG

Led the Panthers with 153 rebounds and was a strong defender for the team. Averaged 7.5 points per game. One of five seniors for NRHEG and was a leader for the young team. The Panthers had a disappointing season after reaching the subsection championship last season, finishing with an 11-17 record.

Cory Camerer, junior, NRHEG

Led the Panthers with 12.2 points per game as a post player and averaged five rebounds a game. Led the team in total rebounds and shot 57 percent from field. A 6-foot-6 post player proved tough to handle and showed some strong inside moves as just a junior. Scored 22 points against Bethlehem Academy when NRHEG knocked them off. The Cardinals were No. 1 in the state at the time.
