Tigers take 9th, two A.L. wrestlers place 2nd in Christmas Tourney

The Albert Lea wrestling team placed ninth out of 40 teams this weekend in the Minnesota Christmas Tournament.

Two Albert Lea wrestlers took second place: Logan Davis at 127 pounds (3-1) and Michael Olson at 133 pounds (4-1).

Brody Ignaszewski at 139 pounds took seventh place (4-2); Nick Korman at 145 pounds took seventh place (4-2); and Triton Cox at 189 pounds took ninth place (5-2).

Ignaszweski also earned his 100th win.

The team will next compete Thursday, when they wrestle fourth-ranked Stillwater Area and Cretin-Durham Hall.
