After graduating high school, Peggy attended secretarial school, where she gained valuable skills that would serve her well throughout her life. In 1994, Peggy and her husband Dennis opened Raleigh’s Ace Hardware, where they were owner/operators until passing. She took pride in providing excellent customer service and building lasting relationships with everyone who walked through the doors. In her free time, Peggy enjoyed listening to her favorite pop music, watching Bollywood movies, reading books, playing cards and games like Farkle and Yahtzee, and visiting the casino on occasion.
Peggy was not only devoted to her career but also to her family. She had a deep love for her children and grandchildren, treasuring every moment spent with them. She is survived by her daughters Amanda (Dr. John) Grzybowski, Michelle (Jeff) Rossate, and Wendy (John) Schaffler; sons Matt (Ellen) Raleigh and Dr. Michael (Meaghan) Raleigh; and her cherished grandchildren Scott, Keith (Angelina), and Elise Grzybowski, Kaitlyn and Kalvin Rossate, Lauren, Lillian, and Luke Raleigh, Patrick and Thomas Schaffler, Mei and Mya Raleigh; and her great-grandchild Elias Grzybowski.
In addition to her immediate family members, Peggy held a special place in the hearts of her extended family and close friends. She will be deeply missed by her brothers James (Sandy) Tucker and Gary (Doreen) Tucker; sister Sally (Steve) Wright; and all those who were lucky enough to have known her.
Welcoming Peggy to her eternal home are her parents, Chester and Juanita Tucker, and her beloved husband, Dennis.
