The duplicate bridge club meets every Tuesday and Wednesday at the Senior Center in Austin, starting at 11:30 a.m. sharp. Players come from Mason City, Northwood, Albert Lea, Rose Creek and Austin.

Tuesday winners, with nine teams playing, were the following:

• First: Vandy Newman and Ron Peters

• Second: Barb Rofshus and John Leisen

• Third: Edna Knobbe and Gail Schmidt

• Fourth: Barb and Orrin Roisen

• Fifth: Joyce Crowe and John Buley

Wednesday winners, also playing nine teams were the following:

• First: Tom Flaherty and Stan Schultz

• Second: Gail Schmidt and Dave Ring

• Third: Barb Rofshus and Paul Hanson

• Fourth and Rick Stroup and John Leisen

Next week’s players are invited to a Christmas dinner at the center before beginning the games.

A reminder in regard to weather: The Senior Center closes due to weather any time that area schools are closed.
