Papa J at 112 on Broadway
Looking for something to do this Friday evening? Come to 112 On Broadway for food, drinks and live music by two-time Emmy Award winner Papa J. The event is from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Will Barnett & Company
Get ready for a special Friday night at the Moose Lodge 1703 — Chapter 1364 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. with live music from alternative country artist and Iowa-native Will Barnett & Company.

Good Shot UTV and ATV State Line Ride
Dust off your winter gear and visit Good Shot in Emmons for a winter ride on Saturday. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and the ride begins at noon. The event will be a two-hour ride around Freeborn County beginning and ending at Good Shot. Participants can register at GoodShotEmmons@gmail.com. Cost is $25 per machine and includes soup for the driver. Soup will also be available for other riders and public who are coming out for the day. There will be door prizes from Northstar Powersports including a Yamaha generator, a Polaris cooler and apparel. There will also be meat and 50/50 raffles following the ride.

40th annual Geneva Cancer Auction
It’s time once again for the Geneva Cancer Auction, an annual event held to raise money for cancer research. There will be auctions of donated items at Geneva Bar and Grill on Friday at 7 p.m. as well as Saturday at 2 p.m. A raffle will be held with a grand prize of $1,000 and other prizes of smaller amounts. Raffle tickets are $5 each.

Winter craft at the Memory Cafe
All are welcome to join artist Bonnie Wedge from the Albert Lea Art Center to create a winter craft at the Memory Cafe at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Albert Lea Senior Center.The event will be a warm, welcoming gathering and appropriate for those with any level of memory loss and their family or friends.
