In December and January the two newest members of the Albert Lea Exchange Club gifted an Albert Lea Area Schools social worker with boxes of new winter boots for children in the elementary schools who may need them. They also gifted the Freeborn County Foster Care/Child Protection Unit with backpacks filled with needed items for those in need. The Exchange Club meets at noon on the first Tuesday of each month at Bleachers Sports Bar and Grill. They invite anyone interested to stop by for a meeting.
