Teenage pedestrian struck by vehicle

A teenager was reportedly taken to the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle Friday night on Highway 22 in Faribault County.
Nolan Ray Polkow, 17, of Easton, was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for injuries deemed not life-threatening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The report stated Polkow, who was listed as a pedestrian, was struck by a 2011 Ford Fusion, driven by Jonathan Dylan Hodge, 17, of Wells, that was southbound on Highway 22 at 130th Street shortly before 10 p.m.
Hodge and his two teenage passengers were not injured.
The report stated alcohol was not a factor.
The Wells Police Department, the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office and Wells fire and ambulance crews assisted at the scene.
